Important information for all participants

*GETTING THERE AND PARKING*

The Body Evolution 5km Run and Wellness Day takes place at Russborough on Saturday April 30th 2011. Russborough is located just off the N81 just outside Blessington. More info in our "getting there" section

Upon arrival at the venue you will be directed to the parking area by the marshals. Please listen to the marshals and park in the designated participants parking area. From there you will be directed to the registration area (approx 3 mins walk).

*REGISTRATION*

*Everyone* is required to register for the event upon arrival. Our registration area will located in the main building at Russborough and will be clearly signposted. The registration area will be open from *9am to 10.30am.*

*If you miss registration you will not be able to take part in the run or walk.*

*KIDS ACTIVITIES*

If you wish you can drop kids to the kids zone after you have registered.

The kids zone will be *clearly signposted on the day*. It will be located in a walled garden just off the walkway at Russborough.

We have booked the *biggest bouncy castle in Ireland* for the day along with a slide. We will have a *magic show* going on from 1pm - 2.30pm.

Also there will be pedal *go karts and a miniature track* (provided by totalexperience.ie)

There will be lots of other fun stuff including balloons, face painting and more.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE WE ARE PROVIDING ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR CHILD LIES WITH YOU. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR SNOTTY NOSES, FIGHTS WITH BIG BROTHERS, TOILET BREAKS OR ANYTHIING ELSE!!*

*RUN/WALK*

*The run or walk starts at 11am*. You will need to be at the *start line in front* of the main gates at Russborough by *10.50am*. Otherwise we will start without you!

The course looks absolutely beautiful at the moment. It's covered with Spring flowers and has great views of the surrounding countryside.

*TOILETS*

You will find toilets located near the registration area and also in the courtyard near the registration area. Again this will be clearly signposted.

*LUNCH*

A light lunch will be served at the finish area. You will need your finishers medal to get your food. YUM!

*TAI CHI DEMONSTRATION AND DRUMMING*

We will have a wonderful Tai Chi demonstration and also a drumming group demonstration at the finish area. This is something not to be missed.

* THE WELLNESS WAY*

*The wellness way will be open from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. This is your chance to relax and enjoy yourself after your walk or run. You can leave and enter the wellness way at your leisure but you will need to show your finishers medal to get in and out.*

*The After Party*

What better to round off your day than with an after party!! We have a free glass of pink champagne for all our entrants at the after party in the West Wicklow House, Blessington. So get your dancing shoes on and join us in the pub from 8pm for the best of local craic and music.

*Accommodation*

*CRAFTS PEOPLE AND ARTISANS AT RUSSBOROUGH*

The crafts people at Russborough will be opening their workshops and studios for the day. We invite you to take a stroll around and any questions are welcome. See below for some information on some of the craftspeople and for more info click on the link afterwards.

*Russborough House*

There is a new interactive exhibition opening at Russborough. To celebrate this, Russborough are providing half price tours of the house on the day of the event. There will also be free entry to the famous Russborough maze.
